Who We Are

Addis Food Service, Health & Safety (AFSHS) is a food safety, health and sanitation organization that specializes in the overall health and hygiene of eatery establishments.

 

Addis Food Service, Health & Safety (AFSHS) was inspired by a group of health professionals, restaurant experts/consultants and IT professionals who decided that they needed to find a way to minimize foodborne illness. In Ethiopia, most, if not all of the culture is tied to food, whether it is a wedding, funeral, family gathering, religious gathering, birthdays...you name it. Food safety starts with education, and here at AFSHS, we want to lay the foundation for generations to educate hospitality employees in the restaurant, hotel, agriculture, and overall hospitality industry the fundamentals of food, health and sanitation by working every Ethiopian company to train their employees through our state-of-the-art training course, which awards them with a certificate of completion.
